PVPatidar Vepar Post buying requirement Add your business

Stay safe when you buy and sell

Last updated 02-10-2026

Most businesses here are honest, but anyone can type a message. Read these tips once — they take two minutes.

Never share your OTP. It is the key to your account. Patidar Vepar staff will never ask for it — not on a call, on WhatsApp or in a message. Only type it into the Patidar Vepar website or app.

Before you pay anyone

  1. Don't pay the full amount in advance to someone you have never dealt with. Pay a part first, or on delivery.
  2. Check the badge, referrals and reviews. How trust works ›
  3. For a big order, see the goods or the shop — visit, or ask for a video call.
  4. Pay only to the name you checked. The bank or UPI name should match.
  5. Keep it in writing — price, quantity, delivery date.

Patidar Vepar does not handle payments and does not guarantee any order.

Common tricks to watch for

Pay first, goods never come

Pay a part first, or pay on delivery.

Pay a fee to get the order

A “buyer” asks you for a registration fee, deposit or sample charge. Real buyers don't charge sellers. Stop, and email us (see How to report).

A call “from Patidar Vepar”

They ask for money or an OTP so your listing stays. Verification is free and done only in the app or website. We never ask for your OTP.

Fake payment proof

A screenshot is not money. Check your own bank or UPI app before sending goods. You never enter your UPI PIN to receive money.

Scheme or chain system

“Chain system”, “double your money”. Report it. On a buying requirement, choose “Scheme or chain system”; on a listing, choose “Something else”.

How to check a business

  • Ask for their GST number and check it at services.gst.gov.in → Search Taxpayer (government site). The legal name should match.
  • Many small tradesmen have no GST — that alone is not a warning sign.
  • Udyam (MSME): udyamregistration.gov.in (government site).
  • Food businesses: foscos.fssai.gov.in (government site).

We don't show GST numbers on listings. “Documents verified” means our team has seen a document — for a big order, still check the number yourself.

Your number and your messages

You must sign in to see a business's number. We record each time a number is opened.

When you message a business, it can see your mobile number. Only message businesses you want to hear from.

What we do

  • Our team checks proof before giving a Shop or Documents badge.
  • Messages asking for a registration fee or deposit are blocked — no filter catches everything, so stay alert.
  • Sponsored businesses must be at least Shop verified and are always marked.

How to report something

  1. Sign in. (guests see Sign in)
  2. Open the listing, review or referral and tap Report this listing or Report.
  3. For a listing, choose a reason: Information is wrong · Not a Patidar-owned business · Offensive · Spam · Something else. Reviews and referrals: the same list without “Not a Patidar-owned business”.
  4. You will see: “Thanks — our team will take a look.”

What happens next

Our team looks at it. We can hide the listing, review or referral, remove a badge, or suspend the owner. Every action is recorded with a reason. The business is not told who reported it.
