Accessibility

Last updated 13-10-2026

We want everyone to be able to find and contact a business on Patidar Vepar, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, larger text or other assistive technology. Accessibility is something we keep working on, on both the website and the app.

What we do

  • Pages are built with meaningful headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through them.
  • Buttons, links and form fields have text labels; form errors are announced, not shown by colour alone.
  • The star ratings and the trust score carry a text label (for example "Rated 4 out of 5"), so they are not read as a row of blank icons.
  • Interactive controls can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline, and pop-up sheets can be closed with the Escape key.
  • Text is sized to meet WCAG 2.1 AA colour contrast, and the pages work down to a phone-width screen.
  • Images that carry meaning have descriptive text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We are not claiming every page fully meets it yet — some parts are still being improved — but that is the bar we hold ourselves to.

What we test with

We check the site in current versions of common browsers, and with the screen readers built into phones and computers (VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA).
